UK Mouse Atlas Project, Dept. of Anatomy, Univ. of Edinburgh- The UK MRC (Medical Research Council) Human Genetics Unit in Edinburgh is constructing a digital atlas of mouse development and an accompanying database to be a resource for spatially mapped data (for exampl, in situ gene expression and cell lineage). The project is being undertaken in collaboration with the Department of Anatomy, University of Edinburgh, the Jackson Laboratory, USA and a European Science Foundation Network. . UK The Kidney Development Database, Dept. of Anatomy, Univ. of Edinburgh- The Kidney Development Database was designed to collect in one place all the data from a large number of developmental studies that have a bearing on the study of kidney development. The data is presented in tables arranged according to a standard scheme of kidney development that is explained in the key. The authors state that many of the entries are derived from low-power in situs or are published text-only descriptions, and should therefore be interpreted with mild caution. . UK Uni. OTHER Virtual -Dissection- This site provides a list that is a follow-up to a workshop on Virtual Dissection organised by the CTI Centre for Biology. It was constructed to promote the development and awareness of materials for the computer-based teaching of Anatomy and Histology. . UK VOXEL-MAN Atlases- The VOXEL-MAN Atlases are designed as true 3D interactive atlas of the human body. The VOXEL-MAN/brain and VOXEL-MAN/skull atlases are now at a usable stage of construction, ther e are, however, minimum hardware and software requirements (details provided). . USA
