They attest that taking vitamin B2 helped bring significant relief to the condition. This was accompanied by a decrease in the number of headaches suffered in a month. It is important to note that migraines occur in different people and the causes are different in each situation. There are other factors that affect the condition such as environment, age, chemical reactions in the body, lifestyle etc. All these makes a person respond differently to various forms of therapy available for treating migraines, therefore it can be said that there is no standard cure for migraines. Vitamin B2 or riboflavin has been known to bring relief and prevent migraines in some patients. What is important in treating and preventing migraines is that patients should establish what triggers their migraines so as to avoid such situations. The best cure for migraines is prevention. This can be done by maintaining a diary where activities performed and foods eaten on a day or days leading to a situation where a migraine occurred are analyzed. This information is helpful in helping patients take better care of themselves as this condition can be very painful and debilitating. Activities that are known to relax the body should be encouraged; these include massage, resting, walking or simple jogging exercises. People should avoid stressful situations as these trigger migraines. A change in diet is known to bring a significant amount of relief to the problem, and avoiding foods that cause allergy.
